I was born and raised in Coos Bay, Oregon. I still live here today. I love photographing this beautiful area and its people.
I became interested in photography around 2005 and began taking photos on a volunteer basis for several local fire departments in the Coos Bay area. I documented photo logs for investigation purposes, and photographed the departments' social events and public activities. You can see several of my fire department pictures in the photo gallery.
I'm now pursuing photography as a career. One of my loves is photographing people; weddings, portraits, parents and children, or just people at work or having fun.
I believe photographs can artistically depict life in a unique way, and they don't have to be heavily edited to do it. I prefer photos straight out of the camera, with little post-processing and a natural look.
